Join your fellow DCH members and fellow car enthusiasts at the Hemi Hideout in Brookshire, TX for a self-guided tour of some amazing vintage American muscle cars, fabulous neon signs, and assorted antiques!
The Hemi Hideout is a 21,700 sq. ft. Heavy Timberframe, Amish-styled scissor arched masterpiece that is the largest of its type in Texas, rising 54 feet in height. Built by collector John Hovas, it is filled with 24 of the most desirable Dodge and Plymouth muscle cars of the 1960's and early 70's, over 600 vintage porcelain and neon signs, many pieces of memorabilia, antique tractors and motorcycles, and surrounded by beautiful manicured grounds.
Usually open by appointment only, this is a rare occasion to visit a uniquely Texan location that will appeal to young and old alike. On September 17th the public is invited to tour the facility and enjoy the surroundings from 9:30 to 11:30 AM. The cost is only $10 per person, payable IN CASH at the door.
As an added bonus, the Houston Corvette Club will have their cars on display outside the main building!
